As the inaugural ship for Silversea Cruises, Silver Cloud epitomises everything that is Silversea. Since its launch, Silver Cloud has travelled to all corners of the world while introducing her guests to a superlative level of luxury. Designed to provide the most intimate of sailing experiences, a Silver Cloud cruise provides 296 privileged guests with the luxury of space and the ability to slip into exotic ports off the beaten path. Each ocean-view suite provides a sumptuous retreat. Each public space is intimate yet inviting. Silver Cloud is often described by returning guests as their own private yacht, their home away from home.

2011 finds the Silver Cloud ship lingering amidst balmy Caribbean tradewinds and crossing Panama to explore Mexico before travelling northward to summer in Iceland, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. Autumn in Andalusia is followed by an eastward jaunt to Italy and the Greek Isles before Silver Cloud returns to the warm Caribbean waters and explorations in the Amazon.

2012 begins with Silver Cloud soaking up the Caribbean sun. Then it’s a quick stop in Bermuda en route to a European season that extends from April through August. Silver Cloud heads south to the warmer Mediterranean waters for autumn and come November, crosses the Atlantic to explore the Amazon and trace the eastern coast of South America, arriving at the end of the year at the “end of the world” in Chile.
